Video Gameplay
Rock Idols is the new game by MAG Elettronica, themed on Rock ‘n Roll. It has a 5-reels configuration, with 3 symbols each; the player is granted with a single spin for each match. Credits are playable at Stakes 25, 50 and 100, on 5 winning lines, and at Stake 200, on 10 winning lines. Rock Idols offers several bonus sequences, including the following:
- GUITAR FRENZY (ability): An electric guitar is displayed, seen from the pickups. Notes are flowing from the paddle through the chords, and a timer is displayed on top-left of the screen. Using the corresponding 1 to 5 buttons the player has to select a chord while the note on it is within the small portion enclosed between the two horizontal green lines, to hit the note with the correct timing. Wrong hits will decrease the amount of time available.
- GUITAR FRENZY (luck): The player will have to select one of the 5 chords to get an instant amount of points as prize.
- CASH SPINNER: An LP is displayed while it spins on a record player. The player has to stop it by pressing the START button; the area of the LP on which the head stops will determine the type of prize awarded amongst points, free spins, and a mystery prize.
- SUPER WILD: If the three band members appear together on reels 2, 3 and 4, these three reels will be turned into Wild Reels which will give big wins!
